What does a R-R index of 2.5 means?
A R- R index of 2.5 means that 25 % of the products gross weight – including packaging is either made from recycled material or is recycled.
What does a R-R-Packing index of 2.5 means?
A R- R Packing in index of 2.5 means that 25 % of the products Packaging weight –is either made from recycled material or is recycled
Can I use R-R index Logo once I pay the membership Fee?
No , To be able to use the logo you have to meet three conditions
1. you have to pay the membership fee .
2. You have to load Recycling -Reuse data for the said product.
3. The recyclers and accumulators data have to be verified by independent verifiers.
Who are the independent verifiers?
As of Now, We have approved Eurocert SA . A European Third party inspection and verification body for this. You can get in touch with them info@eurocert.in to schedule the Verification.
What can I expect in Verification Exercise and How much it is going to cost?
The protocol for verification right now asks the documentary evidence to be uploaded for verification of chain of custody of the recycled material and the verification of actual quantity of recycled material being shipped from Accumulators to Recyclers through to the producer in Supply chain.
Why does the recyclers and accumulators data have to be verified by independent verifiers.
How much is the membership Fee?
The membership fee for each type of member is different.
Accumulator – USD 20 per year
Primary Recyclers -USD 100 per year
Producer in Supply Chain – USD 200 per year
Brands or Primary producer- USD 2000 per year
Why is the membership fee Annual ?
The membership fee is Annual because the recycling Data is submitted is valid for 12 months after publishing
